Properties for Sale

 photo DSC_0298_zps140a07be.jpg

There are a lot of competitively-priced, commercial, industrial and residential properties for sale nowadays specially here in the Philippines. We have seen a lot of these properties when we visited some house and lot for sale within our city and even a few miles away just like this rest house and beach resort for sale at El Salvador, Misamis Oriental.

This is a 1389 square meter property, located along the highway and sea shore, with swimming pool and fully furnished rooms. This is actually a good property for business since it has lots of rooms with CR, function room and entertainment area as well. Only the main problem is that this place needs a huge renovation. It will take some time and huge amount in order to renovate this place. Oh well, my mom and her boyfriend who are looking for this kind of property didn’t like this one. Better luck next time, perhaps we can find a good one soon.

The Home Depot

One of the things that made us busy nowadays is that we are constructing our church building. As of now the walls are already finished. Our next project is the flooring that’s why we ordered a hundred pieces of huge tiles for our church flooring at the home depot.

We all know that a home depot is a retail store wherein you can find everything you need in rebuilding or renovating your home. It offers a wide variety of building, finishing and furnishing products at the most competitive price. I find the home depot as the most complete quality building and construction store that caters to all home and building needs.

Selling Cooked Foods

PhotobucketSelling cooked foods is actually one of the in demand business here in our place.  Our barangay is composed of 5 subdivisions and most of the people here are studying and working. They don’t have time to cook and when they arrived home tired or they are just lazy enough to cook for their meals, they just choose to buy cooked foods outside.

Did you know that almost all corners here in our subdivision has a little stall whether its just made of wood or style buildings as long as they sell cooked foods? That’s how the people loves buying instant foods. When my sister in law bought a house and lot which is ideal for business since it is located beside the main street, my hubby’s family decided to invest money in buying pot,  kitchen utensils and other things needed for cooking foods. They also hired a stay in cook and a server/ attendant.

My family and I also prefers to buy cooked foods everyday. For P30 we can buy three kinds of viands such as pancit, ginataang langka or sari-sari veggies. Most viands here ranges from P10 to 30. They also serve cooked rice. When you buy cooked foods here after lunch, you will only see the little viands left on the serving dish because its already sold. That’s how good and stable this kind of little business is. Aside from the good income, you can also gain profit since you eat free from eating this cooked foods specially when there’s still viand that is left unsold.

Buy and Support Fair Trade Products

Are you familiar with fair trade products? it is actually an international trade that enables farmers to sell their locally made products to the market. It allows producers to invest in their farms and communities abroad and let farmers compete in the global marketplace. We as consumers can support them by purchasing their products.

Now that Christmas is fast approaching, its a time when were not only give love in exchanging our gifts but it must be for everyone to get into the spirit. What better spirit is to choose to spend your hard earned money on trade fair goods and products where the workers are making a living wage.

If you want to feel really good about your Christmas shopping this year and all the people who will benefit from it, try going to Fair Trade and buy fair trade gifts and you will be really glad that you did and so will all the people who are proud to be able to support themselves.
